Hand Bouquet
I visit few florist asking them the cost of a hand bouquet. Most of them sell it for RM60-RM150 depending on kind of flower & decoration. It makes me think alternative ways to save cost for an important element of brides.
A hand bouquet is an important part of your wedding event. But remember, having several hand bouquets, one for you and one for each of your brides maids, can get expensive very quickly. An option to having fresh flowers is to use a silk flower bouquet, which can be quite reasonable. You should face the fact, however, that a silk flower bouquet does not have the same appeal or style that a live flower bouquet does. However, if you have a limited budget, you don’t have to go with silk flowers, you just have to be imaginative and make your own hand bouquet out of live flowers that you buy.
Much of the cost related with a hand bouquet is due to how difficult it is to actually create a bouquet, not the cost of the flowers. The flowers in a hand bouquet are artfully arranged, wrapped and tied with precision. The end result of a professional arranged bouquet can be breathtaking, and many people take years to properly learn this skill. However, this does not mean that you can’t arrange your own bouquets. It is just that you need to use care and be a bit creative throughout the process as well.
If you aren’t as creative as you would like to be, a simple way to create your own elegant hand bouquet is to use a small amount of large flowers, such as Daisy, to create your bouquet. Three or four large flowers can look like a lot more than they are and can create a dazzling look. What’s more, you don’t have to know everything about arranging flowers, simply tie the stems together with a lovely ribbon and you are good to go. This is a great way to save money on your wedding bouquet and still produce the impact that you desire with the bouquet.
