Foto by Razali is having a Free Wedding Photography Package Giveaway!! Here’s a short breakdown of the contest

What:

I am giving away a full coverage wedding photography package to one lucky couple. When I say full coverage, I mean the whole meal deal: I will be shooting your whole day from the solemnization to the reception to the outdoor portraiture session on the evening in one day.

To enter into the contest, you enter by doing these things:

2. Find this blue poster and share it to your friends. You can also copy and upload it to your wall. Tag 10 of your friends to thats poster.
3. Now you select one of the photos you like from any folder or from my blog or even from my personal Facebook (facebook.com/razali), write an entry in your blog. When:

The contest starts today and the winner will be announced on December 31st, 2010. Entries will be accepted until December 30st, 2010 at 12PM. The contest is open to anyone having a wedding before November 30th, 2011.

Contest Details:

How many times can I enter for the contest?

One individual = One entry. However, you do not have to be getting married in order to enter the contest. What this means is if you are a couple that has 10,000 friends (for example), those 10,000 friends can each enter the contest. This would obviously increase your chances of winning, so by all means, get your friends to enter!

What is not included with the winnings?

Travel expenses. What this means is if you win the contest and live in Kedah or Kuala Lumpur for example we’d be more then happy to shoot your wedding, but our travel expenses will need to be covered.

What is the value of this wedding photography?

RM2011, With that in mind, you cannot try to exchange this for cash.

At the wedding, who does the photography?

I will work on all projects, including weddings, so I’ll be shooting your wedding.

What are the language used?
You can use any languages you like. Either Malay, English, Or whatever you speak

What if I didn’t plan to get married just yet / already been married?
You can use this for a photosession with your couple or friends gathering.

Why Are We Doing This?

I want someone to win this because if one day either of us were given the same gift, we’d be totally pumped. So, I am making some lucky couple happy and karma is a good thing!
Photography is fun. Winning free stuff is fun. Combining those two things is fun. The end.

The Wedding
18 September 2010 – Kluang – Johor

Setahun lepas dirumah yang sama, saya diberi kepercayaan oleh abang kepada Raihan untuk merakamkan majlis mereka, Amin & Asmah. Kali ni adiknya pula Raihan naik pelamin. Seperti dulu jugak, majlis nampak simple tapi kemeriahan terasa bila sanak saudara rapat semuanya ada kat majlis ni. Terhibur melihat gelagat makcik2 mereka.

Sedar atau tidak, kita dah pun dipertengahan Syawal yang mulia. Namun disana sini masih lagi meriah sambutan hari raya. Saya sempat juga berkunjung kerumah sanak saudara berdekatan & sahabat handai. Nak ke Kuala Lumpur / Banting belum sempat-sempat lagi. Jadual dah pun penuh. Mungkin lepas raya baru dapat kesana. Family sangat besar, 12 adik beradik. 10 darinya kat Kuala Lumpur / Selangor. Jadi macam manapun kenalah beraya kesana juga sesekali.

Kalau kat sini, selagi belum Syawal, memang tak berhenti2 rumah terbuka. Tahun lepas aku terjumpa diorang buat rumah terbuka lepas habis Syawal. Pemuda parti politik tertulis pada banner. Semua berbaju kurung cantik-cantik, makan lemang ketupat rendang. Oh tak kesahlah. Raya setahun kot.

The Wedding
16 September 2010 – Parit Raja, Batu Pahat – Johor

Setelah hampir sebulan berehat, saya mulakan semula kerja pada 16 September yang lalu. Lokasi majlis di Parit Raja, berdepan dengan kampus UTHM. Disebabkan terlalu lama rehat, perasaan gementar tu ada jugak bila berhadapan dengan orang ramai walaupun dah lama mulakan kerja macam ni. Saya ditemani Azam pada hari itu yang banyak membantu. Perasaan tu semua hilang bila dah mula kerja satu ke dua jam. Alhamdulillah…

Pasangan pengantin ni pulak memang beri sepenuh kerja sama sepanjang majlis. Takda kata penat ke kata nak stop ke. Memang macam ni lah yang saya selalu tunggu untuk hasilkan gambar-gambar menarik. Impak terjadi bila mereka betul-betul nak bergambar. Jadi kita boleh buat kepelbagaian dalam satu sesi tu. Saya kalau boleh tak nak gunakan satu tempat dari mula sesi sampai ke akhir. Kalau boleh biar dapat pergi 2 – 3 tempat, ada variasi. Kepelbagaian itulah yang mendatangkan mood bila tengok semula gambar.

Hari ini dah masuk berapa Syawal? Oh masih raya. Sepanjang puasa tak berkesempatan nak mintak maaf. Buat mereka-mereka yang selalu aku kasari, buat mereka yang berkecil hati, marah kan aku. Ampun maaf dipinta. InsyaAllah masih ada ruang untuk bertoleransi kalau kena budi dan bahasanya.

The Wedding
1 August 2010 – Seri Medan, Batu Pahat – Johor

The best thing of being behind the camera is that I can see moments of joy and happiness which is priceless. Each captured moments are eternal. This bride & groom were two happy couple which I think, the most enjoyable couple to be married, so far. I’ve attended numbers of wedding and each of it have different story to tell. For Fida & Syed, I can easily understand their characters while reading the bride’s blog.

Something that I didn’t expect to happen is, the brotherhood of her friends! They stayed together for 11 years until now from Maahad Muar back in 1998. I can see how close they are. Most of them stayed until we went out for photoshoot. Perhaps I could see more of this in future, oh yes, yes. Her bridesmaid, Akhmar, gonna get marry this November and I’ll be there to capture her wedding. I believe I’ll see bunch of them again soon.

This is the last wedding ceremony before Ramadhan. I’ll continue my journey right after Eid. 16th September to be exact (Hari Malaysia). Till then, enjoy..

25 July 2010 – Pasir Gudang, Johor

One of the most challenging part of my job description is to make people laugh. It is rather difficult or sometimes so easy. Positively, pictures with happy faces looks much better, as far as I know. Tapi bukanlah mudah untuk laksanakan. I’m not a really funny type of person, I’ll try my best to make everyone around me comfortable. Aku lebih sukakan gambar yang ceria dan spontan. Itu yang dikejarkan. Minggu ni dibantu oleh Mohd Azam yang awesome! Few photos were taken by him here.

Izyani & Sazli; the loving couple who have very sincere smile all over their wedding. Mereka sangat enjoy detik-detik hari bahagia mereka. I’m honored to capture their happiness. They both were doctors in Hospital Sultanah Aminah, Johor Bahru. You guys are purely awesome for trusting us to be a part on your big day!

17 & 18 July 2010 – Segamat, Johor

Salah satu majlis unik yang dihadiri, aku hampir tak memahami bahasa pertuturan mereka. Seronok dengar mereka berbual dalam bahasa kemboja, cuba untuk fahami tapi gagal. Memang berlainan. Kedua mempelai ini berasal dari Segamat dan bekerja dalam bidang yang sama. Majlis yang berlangsung dua hari, aku dibantu oleh rakan-rakan. Shahrul Hanafi, Idham Haziq, Aidil Bachok dan seorang jurugambar tersohor Segamat, Azili Elias.

Aku sangat berbesar hati memeriahkan majlis gilang gemilang mereka ni. Simple yet elegance decoration, very nice make up, gorgeous dress and the atmosphere.

I really enjoy this wedding ceremony. When sometimes we travel to different places, we’ll learn different culture even in a same country. Usually, I’m having photograph session around my town, but this time I travel 3 hours to Selangor. I’m having great food at the wedding. Rugi ambil sikit sangat. I always afraid to eat at weddings, afraid it gonna give me trouble later. Hehe.. The weather was nice, even I read that it gonna rain the whole day, but sun shines late until end of the session. Thank god.
